An exciting opportunity in an international digital financial media company. We are looking for a Team Assistant (remote) to join our team as a contractor. We are all working remotely - so will you!
VaR Value Research & Media is a financial publishing company. Our mission is to provide international investors with useful and valuable information to help them make better investment decisions.
Our products include our investment platforms AsiaFundManagers.com and Capitalmarkets.net.
VaR has its headquarters in Germany. As an international company, we employ staff worldwide.
Your background and skills
- 3+ years of experience as a personal assistant
- Accurate way of working with an eye for detail, even in busy situations
- Excellent English language skills in writing and speaking
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with at least one customer relationship management system (CRM)
- Motivated self-starter
- Independent and reliable way of working
- Experience in sales and marketing organizations is a plus
- Background in working for international companies
- High affinity for all things digital
- Willingness to learn about new topics and fields of work (Financial & investment topics)
Your responsibilities include
As Team Assistant you will work closely with the management of our company, in the fields of Sales, Research and Editorial. Tasks include, e.g.
- Monitoring various mailboxes
- Answering emails from business partners/prospects
- Entering contact data in our CRM system
- Planning follow-up activities in the CRM system
- Planning and sending e-mail campaigns
- Organising webinars and roadshows
- Managing the CEO's calendar
- Supporting the team in the day-to-day business
- General administrative tasks
